Zhe Weng，is a professor in School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Tianjin University. He received his B.S. and M.S. both on Materials Science and Engineering from Huazhong University of Science & Technology, in 2006 and 2008, respectively. And then he received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Institute of Metal Research in 2013. He then became a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Yale Universit before joining Tianjin University in 2018. His research interests focus on the preparation and in-suit characteration of nanomaterials and their application in electrochemical energy storage and electrochemial cataysis of energy conversion. He holds 4 patents and has authored over 20 papers published in top journals such as Nat. Commun., P. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Energy Environ. Sci., Nano Lett., Adv. Energy Mater., ect..
